2x Architect in Germany (m/w/d)

Position Overview
We are seeking two experienced Architects, expected to start in February 2026. The ideal candidates will possess a strong background in middleware and messaging technologies, particularly with Oracle WebLogic and ESB systems, alongside proficiency in Java and cloud services such as AWS. These roles are critical in ensuring the stability and reusability of our integration platforms.

Main Responsibilities
In this role, the Architects will be responsible for:

• Analyzing and troubleshooting errors in ESB and messaging services.

• Designing architecture for ESB & Messaging Systems focusing on stability, maintainability, reliability, security, and reusability.

• Providing 4th-level support for integration platforms (ESB and Messaging).

• Collaborating with external hosting providers.

• Supporting the creation of playbooks for major changes and incident handling.

• Assisting with version upgrades and patch management.

• Analyzing thread and heap dumps for performance and stability issues.

• Reviewing and improving operational procedures.

• Enhancing monitoring capabilities for integration platforms.

Key Requirements
Ideal candidates should have:

• Minimum 6+ years of experience in IT architecture, integration platforms, or middleware systems.

• At least 3 years of hands-on experience with Oracle WebLogic and ESB technologies.

• Proven experience in AWS cloud services and container orchestration (Kubernetes).

• Strong background in Java development and scripting (Python, Shell).

• Experience in performance tuning, troubleshooting, and monitoring of large-scale systems.

Nice to Have
Candidates with the following complementary skills will be at an advantage:

• Architectural expertise in Enterprise Service Bus and Messaging Platform Architecture.

• Knowledge of CI/CD processes and version control using GitLab.

• Experience with Docker containers and Kubernetes.

• Familiarity with ElasticSearch/ELK/OpenSearch.

Other Details
This is a full-time position, based in Germany, with an expected contract duration of 12 months. The rate for this role is expected at 150 EUR/h.
