About the Role

We are looking for an IT Analyst to support a pre-study of the FI custody fee solution. The role involves analyzing the current custody fee process in legacy mainframe systems and evaluating how the calculation can be moved to the strategic platform (Peng).

The IT Analyst will work closely with the Business Analyst to understand the current solution, clarify business rules, and identify simplification and implementation options.

Job Description

• Analyze the current FI custody fee flow and related systems.

• Review and document the existing custody fee business logic.

• Assess the possibility of moving calculations from Ap-Hoito & Maksut to Peng.

• Identify simplification opportunities in the current process.

• Perform impact analysis across connected systems.

• Support definition of:

  • MVP scope

  • Implementation options

  • Effort and cost estimates

• Translate business requirements into technical specifications for development teams.

Must Have

• Strong experience with IBM Z / zOS mainframe environments.

• Ability to read and analyze COBOL code and understand embedded business logic.

• Experience with DB2 and JCL.

• Experience analyzing legacy systems and batch processing flows.

• Strong impact analysis and reverse-engineering skills.

• Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications.

• Experience communicating with both business stakeholders and development teams.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Java and Spring Boot based systems.

• Understanding of microservices architecture and REST APIs.

• Strong SQL and database design/optimization skills.

• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).

• Familiarity with message brokers (Kafka or RabbitMQ).

• Knowledge of banking regulations such as PSD2, AML, or GDPR.

• Experience working with modernizing legacy mainframe systems.
