Tech Lead – Maintenance & Automation (Data Platform & BI)

We are looking for a Tech Lead to take ownership of maintenance and automation for data platforms and BI solutions.

This role is ideal for someone who combines strong technical expertise with ownership of platform stability, can design and implement automated maintenance processes, and define the direction for DataOps / Platform Ops practices.

• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Fabric and Power BI

• Understanding of incident/problem/change management processes (practical ITIL knowledge)

• Strong problem-solving skills and root cause analysis experience

• Basic knowledge of PowerShell and automation tools

• Experience working with clients and production environments

• Good knowledge of SQL

What will you do?

• Leading the technical direction of the maintenance area (Data Platform & BI) – defining standards, approaches, and tools

• Owning platform stability, availability, and performance

• Managing and optimizing the incident/problem/change queue with a strong focus on root cause elimination

• Designing and implementing automation for maintenance processes (self-healing, auto-remediation, alerting)

• Building and developing proactive monitoring (metrics, logs, alerts, observability)

• Collaborating with clients – providing technical consulting on maintenance, optimization, and platform evolution

• Creating and maintaining a backlog of improvements and small development initiatives

• Identifying and implementing cost and performance optimizations

• Supporting the team as a technical expert and mentor (without direct people management)

• Driving best practices in DataOps / Platform Ops / BI Ops
