Mobile Engineer (iOS/Android)
We are looking for a Mobile Engineer (iOS/Android) to join our Mobile team developing our own product Egnyte app. The app is a part of a high-scale system used for the management of files placed on the cloud and local servers (hybrid solution).
We are responsible for all aspects of the product development lifecycle (design, development & validation, deployment, and production monitoring).
By joining our team you will cooperate directly with UI/UX experts, SW developers, QA engineers, and Product Owner. Stability, performance, and reliability are the main areas we are focusing on in order to deliver business value to our customers around the globe. We are working according to agile methodology.
Your day-to-day at Egnyte:
- Designing and developing new features for our Mobile app
- Delivering proven high-quality solutions (unit tests, automation, validation process)
- Identifying customer issues by production monitoring
- Direct cooperation with the team to work out the best solutions
What skills are we looking for?
- Commercial experience in software development on iOS and Android (as well as iOS and Android development-related tools)
- Good knowledge of Swift, Java, and Kotlin
- Deep knowledge of Foundation/UIKit and other most popular Apple frameworks
- Knowledge of common frameworks and libraries of the Android world like Retrofit 2, RxJava, and Dagger 2
- Knowledge of Espresso and UI Automator, experience with unit testing
Nice to Have:
- Experience in the development of scalable cloud solutions where priority is put on performance and stability
- Experience in production monitoring, knowledge of tools and systems
- Good knowledge of Objective-C
- Experience with SwiftUI
- Expertise in Fastlane, CI/CD
- Experience working with GIT version control
