Eeedo is looking for a new teammate: Software test engineer.

We at eeedo transform multichannel customer service into the best omnichannel customer experience with our product eeedo desk. Eeedo Desk helps our clients create the best customer service experience for their business. Our partners, such as Finland's largest telco Elisa, sell Desk as part of their offering.

Our team is expanding and we are looking a key teammate who has strong passion for testing, quality assurance and automation. We always encourage taking the initiative to improve our services.

As Software test engineer at eeedo, you would be responsible to increase software quality, service reliability and test coverage by means of automation. You would be working closely with our developers, product owners and other team members to ensure that our product meets the highest standards of quality.

Your tasks include

- Continuously improving our testing processes and methodologies

- Developing and maintaining automated tests for our web application

- Ensuring that our product meets the highest standards of quality and reliability

- Collaborating with developers to ensure code quality and reliability

- Identifying and reporting bugs and issues

We are looking for a person who has:

- Strong experience in software testing and quality assurance

- Proficiency in test automation tools such as Jest, Cypress/Playwright, React Testing Library, and Cucumber (or similar)

- Coding skills in JavaScript/TypeScript

- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools

- Experience with API testing and integration testing

- Experience with performance testing tools such as k6 or Artillery (optional)

- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

Here is our tech stack: Node.js, TypeScript, React, MySQL, RabbitMQ, Redis.

We offer a nice work environment in the center of Tampere, flexible work hours and good possibilities for remote work. Our team is spread over Europe and our work language is English. You can work from anywhere inside EU / EEA.

Location: Full remote work in EU / EEA or Tampere, Finland
