We are looking for a Senior Java Developer (5+ years of experience) to join the team of our client from Austria - one of the leading system specialists for the planning, construction, and operation of control centers and call centers for emergency medical services, fire brigades, and police forces, as well as for industry and transportation. The company is using the next-generation control center software suite.
Required EU citizenship (Poland, Slovakia, Czech Republic)
On-site business trips to Austria twice a year
Hourly rate 135-145 h/PLN + VAT

Responsibilities:
Active participation in the development of our modern, web-based control center software
Design and develop innovative product ideas
Develop quality software (including effective test code) according to clean code principles
Ensure high performance of applications and provide support
Proactive contribution in team meetings (Story refinement, Planning, Retros)
Requirements
5+ years of experience with Java development
Experience with Java (version 11 or higher), Spring Boot 2.x
Working in a monolithic application with clearly defined models (Bonus: Implemented modular structure)
Knowledge of JPA, Hibernate, Spring Data
Good knowledge of RDBMS (e.g. MariaDB, Oracle)
Hands-on experience working with Kubernetes, Docker for deployment
Familiarity with ElasticSearch, Redis, Junit, AssertJ, Mockito for testing, and RabbitMQ
Passion for writing clean code and using established patterns
Experience working in team environments
Good communication skills
Will be a plus
Experience with Development-Lead or/and knowledge-sharing skills to coach and guide other team members
