Lead UI/Product Engineer
Lead UI/Product Engineer (Vue.js / Media Systems)
Location: Remote within Poland
Experience: 8-12 Years Industry | Senior-level Vue 3 & TypeScript
The Opportunity
EditShare is unifying its world-class media ecosystem. We are seeking a heavyweight Lead UI/Product Engineer to lead the frontend evolution of EditShare One.
While our backend teams handle the heavy lifting of video processing and storage, your mission is to build high-performance, intuitive interfaces that allow creators to interact with that data. You will bridge the gap between complex REST APIs and a "pixel-perfect" user experience across web applications and integrated NLE panels for Adobe Premiere or DaVinci Resolve.
The Technical Mission
High-Level Technical Communication: You possess full professional proficiency in English (written and verbal). Ability to explain high-level architectural decisions to both engineers and non-technical staff.
Architectural Ownership: Design and maintain scalable frontend applications using Vue 3, TypeScript, Pinia, and Vite.
API Orchestration: Consume complex RESTful APIs to create fluid, real-time workflows. You understand how to handle large data sets, pagination, and state synchronisation without compromising UI performance.
Design Systems & Styleguides: Act as the primary bridge to UI Design. You will implement and extend our design language using PrimeVue (or similar), ensuring Responsiveness and Accessibility (WCAG).
Editing Ecosystem: Build and maintain integrated panels using CEP/UXP, bringing EditShare’s power directly into tools like Avid, Adobe Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve.
Collaborative Excellence: Lead by example within a team of high-calibre engineers. You don't just "review" code; you inspire best practices, facilitate technical discussions, and ensure architectural alignment across timezones.
Source Control: Proven expertise in Git-based workflows (GitHub), with a focus on managing complex branching strategies, conducting high-standard peer code reviews, and maintaining repository integrity across distributed teams.
Quality Assurance: Own the testing lifecycle, ensuring high reliability through Unit tests and End-to-End (Playwright) automation.
What We’re Looking For
The Lead (8–12 Years): You have a career built on shipping complex, high-availability software. You understand the balance between technical debt and business velocity. You can provide mentorship to other employees as needed.
Vue 3 Specialist: Expert-level proficiency in Vue 3. You should be comfortable architecting reusable component libraries and managing complex state.
The "Product" Eye: You don't just "slice" designs; you improve them. You have experience working closely with Designers to refine user journeys and ensure visual consistency.
Testing Advocate: Experience with Playwright, Vitest, or Cypress. You believe a feature isn't "done" until it is automated.
Domain Interest: While you don't need to be a video engineer, an interest in media workflows (frame rates, metadata, asset management) is a significant advantage.
The Problems You’ll Solve
In 3 Months: Embrace the FLOW API structures, contribute to the EditShare One component library, and establish a high-cadence code review process.
In 6 Months: Lead the integration of new FLOW services into the UI and deliver responsive, high-performance components that function seamlessly across the web and integrated NLE panels.
In 12 Months: Work closely with product managers to develop the long-term frontend roadmap to ensure maintainability as the platform scales. Standardize our Playwright/Vitest automation strategy to reduce manual QA. Act as a key technical authority, collaborating with Product and Backend leads to influence the next generation of EditShare tools.
