Following recent investment, we’re scaling product and engineering to expand data coverage and accelerate delivery.

Role Overview

We’re hiring our first dedicated QA to establish and lead the quality discipline. You’ll define the quality strategy and standards while staying hands-on with manual and automated testing, partnering closely with Engineering, Product, and Design to ship reliable, performant features.

Our tech stack: Go, PHP, React, AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform, CI/CD, Bitbucket

What You'll Do

• Own the quality strategy: processes, frameworks, environments, and best practices (shift-left, risk-based testing, test pyramid).

• Plan and execute exploratory, functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end tests across web, API, and data layers.

• Build out automation (UI, API, contract): select tooling, set coding standards, define tests, and integrate into CI.

• Embed performance/stability checks and release criteria; leverage logs/metrics/traces for insights using appropriate tools, e.g. Datadog.

• Design API test suites and contract tests; use tools like SQL for data validation and test verification.

• Lead/participate in root cause analysis; drive preventive actions and maintain quality dashboards.

• Mentor engineers and scale QA practices across the team.

Must-Have Experience & Skills

• 5+ years in QA/Software Testing

• Strong exploratory and structured manual testing with exceptional attention to detail.

• Practical experience creating and maintaining test plans/cases, defect management, and clear reporting.

• API testing proficiency (e.g., Postman) and solid SQL for test verification.

• Comfort integrating tests into CI/CD as quality gates (e.g. Bitbucket Pipelines or others).

• Familiarity with at least one automation approach (UI or API) and willingness to expand automation coverage.

• Experience of testing SaaS products in cloud environments

• Excellent collaboration and communication; able to challenge assumptions and advocate for quality.

• Communication level English B2+

Nice-to-Have Experience & Skills

• Has held senior-level QA role or clear readiness to step up.

• Experience of UI automation tools, e.g. Playwright, Cypress,  Selenium.

• Exposure to performance/reliability testing exposure
