RPA Architect
Department: Automation Factory
Location: Wrocław
Goal of the position: Responsible for the technical design of the Architecture, Configuration Templates, development, deployment and optimization of business processes by RPA projects for external customers.
Main tasks:
- Support Pre-sale activities and provide technical solutions, effort estimation, define delivery strategy and plan
- Evaluate RPA tools and provide recommendations
- Assess automation opportunity from technical perspective and perform due diligence to arrive at an optimal solution.
- Define the technical framework considering all relevant artifacts including:
- Security
- Method of access (internal client network , internet, local access)
- User Authentication (SSO, central LDAP, individual log in)
- IT Security and/or Audit Policies which impact the robot deployment
- User Authorization Processes, it’s lead times & request process
- Application landscape
- Applications requiring fat client, any client installation to access, or require individual logins to access
- Technical impacts of applications using OCR or Adobe Flash
- Technical impacts of applications accessed behind Citrix.
- Hosting & Environments
- Hosting Locations and Hosting provider (Internal / 3rd party)
- Availability of test system by application
- Availability of “production like” test data within test applications
- Consistency of test data between applications
- Performance & Availability
- Performance of key applications in the process that could limit the average handling time of the automation
- System availability & timings
- Security
- Anticipate, identify, track and resolve technical issues and risks affecting delivery
- Assist development team in resolving technical problems
- Assist Support teams to resolve issues
- Coordinate and participate in structured peer reviews and walkthroughs
- Promote company corporate cultures and demonstrate discipline
- Contribute during internal and 3rd party visit/audits when applicable
- Participate in projects appointed by management
- Share best practices with other DXC business units

Main responsibilities:
The Employee is obliged to:
- Timely reporting of tasks managed and working time in accordance with employment regulation
- Complete all mandatory trainings specified by management
- Cooperate fully during internal and external audits

- Obey rules and regulations regarding health, safety and fire hazard

The Employee is obliged in particular to:
- Know the provisions and the rules of occupational health and safety, take part in training and instruction in this scope and take the required verification exams
- Perform work in the manner compliant with the provisions and the rules of occupational health and safety and follow the instructions in this scope issued by the superiors
- Take care of the proper condition of machines and equipment as well as of tidiness and order at the workplace
- Timely run initial, periodical and clearance medical examinations as well as other recommended medical tests and follow doctor’s instructions
- In the case of observing an accident at work occurring at the company’s premises or hazards to human life or health immediately notify the superior and co-workers as well as other people exposed to such hazard about the imminent danger
- Cooperate with the Employer and superiors in fulfilling the duties related to occupational health and safety
- Obey to fire hazard regulations
Required trainings:
- Health, safety and fire hazard trainings
- Trainings that are tailored to the individual requirements of the position (RPA Developer onboarding plan)
- DXC Standards of Business Conduct ant other trainings specified by management
Required experience, knowledge and skills:

- Proven experience in of one or more automation technologies (Blue Prism, UiPath, Automation Anywhere or Work Fusion)
- Ability and interest to understand customers’ financial and other business processes
- Interest in the construction and understanding of workflows as well as their computer-assisted implementation
- Experience in one or more Microsoft technology (VBA, VB, C#, Windows), Object Oriented Programming (OOP), Java, JavaScript, Python or HTML
- Ability to simplify and concisely convey complex ideas
- Ability to work independently given general guidance
- Strong English verbal and written communications skills
- Must be a team player and able to build strong working relationships with customers, business partners and technologists at varying levels.
- Good teamwork and analytical skills
- Familiar with process outsourcing and BPO business
- Coaching and trainer skill
