Responsibilities of the role:
- Primary responsibility is user support and customer service
- Performing scheduled administrative tasks
- Preparation of IT documentation and infrastructure inventory
- Preparation of equipment and work environment for new employees
- Participation in IT projects
- IT support for internal and external users,
- Administration of IT infrastructure (including network devices),
- Ongoing maintenance of systems (including monitoring, reporting),
- Registration and classification of tickets along with the proper determination of their priority
- Diagnosing and solving problems related to failures of devices and IT systems
- Forwarding tickets to other support groups within the organization
- Forwarding tickets to external services and monitoring the deadlines and quality of their implementation
- Providing users with a high level of customer service in the field of services provided
Knowledge and Skills Required:
- Experience in supporting users and solving IT problems
- Experience in administering IT systems (Windows, Linux, HPUX)
- Knowledge of UNIX systems (HPUX, Solaris), UNIX-like (BSD family, Linux), virtualization (VMWare, Hyper-V, KVM)
- Programming skills for administrative purposes (PowerShell, Perl, Bash, Python, PHP, html)
- Ability to work in a team
- Accuracy and diligence, regularity, good organization of work
- Ability to deal with stressful situations
- Good verbal and written Polish and English
- Ability to configure and diagnose computer hardware
