Junior Software Developer

Job Description:
We are looking for a Junior .NET Developer to join our technology team. As a team member, you will assist in designing, developing, and maintaining applications using dotnet, angular and cloud technologies. The applications we create include Windows services, web applications, and components deployed using native AWS solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in designing, developing and maintaining applications

• Learn and work with cloud solutions.

• Write and maintain automated tests under guidance.

• Contribute to designing and implementing solutions with an emphasis on scalability and stability.

• Propose technical solutions for presented problems with support from team members.

• Work with MS SQL databases.

• Collaborate with other team members and share knowledge.

• Perform code reviews.

• Developing CI/CD pipelines.

• Maintain high code quality following best practices and design patterns.

• Work closely with Project Managers and other staff members to collect requirements, estimate work, and ensure that projects are delivered according to schedule.

Requirements:

• Knowledge of .net framework and asp.net.

• Knowledge of asynchronous programming.

• Basic knowledge of API design principles (RESTful).

• Basic knowledge of AI-powered coding assistance like GitHub Copilot.

• Familiarity with cloud solutions.

• Familiarity with MS SQL databases.

• Understanding of basic design patterns and good programming practices.

• Basic knowledge of unit testing.

• Ability to design scalable and stable solutions with guidance.

• Ability to propose technical solutions with the comparison of advantages/disadvantages under supervision.

• English and Polish proficiency at B2 level.

• Ability to work in a team, good communication skills, and the ability to share knowledge.

• Familiarity with Git.

• Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with AWS Cloud Services.

• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools in AWS.

• Experience with GitHub.

• Experience with front-end technologies (Angular, AngularJS) is a plus.

• Understanding of containerization concept.

• Familiarity with building CI/CD pipelines.
