Are you up for a new challenge? Our Android Development Team is looking for a passionate Android Developer who can inspire the people around them. At Droids On Roids, our goal is to be the very best but, at the same time, we listen, trust and help each other. Working from the center of Wrocław, in a brand new office, we are not only creating new solutions together - we're also spending time outside of work, traveling around Poland for retreats, going to the cinema, playing football or board games. We want you on board if you have:
- Proven 2+ years working experience in native Android development
- Experience with Kotlin
- Working experience with client-server apps
- Experience with third-party libraries and APIs
- Knowledge of the general mobile landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies
- Working experience with Git
- Drive for clean and testable code
- Experience with writing tests
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication skills, self-motivation and ability to work in a team oriented environment
- Fluent command of spoken and written English
- Knowledge of agile development practices
- Experience in direct communication with the client
Extra points for:
- Experience with Java

- Robust knowledge of different architectures (e.g. MVP, Clean Architecture)
- Knowledge of software design patterns

- Participating in software code reviews and pair programming to ensure the creation of high-quality, robust code by all team members
- Architecting solutions based on object-oriented design principles

Unit-testing code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability
- Evaluating new technologies and keeping up with current industry best practices
- Researching and recommending tools and technologies to support our mobile development
- Working based on agile methodologies
- Developing friendly processes like continuous integration
