Software Engineer

• Salary: up to 28 000 PLN per month

We are looking for a Fullstack Software Engineer that will join the company which is different than others. Unlike their competitors, who aim to replace designers and engineers, they focus on enhancing their value and contributions. Instead, we wish to upskill today’s workforce to achieve tomorrow’s intent-based outcomes.

The company is a Seed-stage B2B product startup backed by a Silicon Valley-based fund. Their team is experienced, with multiple zero-to-one successes.

Responsibilities:

• Customer-centricity collaborating: Engaging and prioritizing around real-world weekly users. As a team, we research, and develop our understanding of customers’ needs. You will participate in demos and interviews. You’ll own the problem and the solution.
• Enthusiastically communicating: Thriving in a startup environment, bringing energy and passion. Contributing beyond code by actively participating in discussions, challenging the team on pull requests, and engaging on Slack. Everyone on the team is an early advocate.

Requirements:

• Enthusiasm: First and foremost we are looking for an appetite to build something meaningful. This isn’t a role for an itemized developer. Our team is storming, we expect the same from you. Together we’ll proudly celebrate our best work, forever changing the pace of innovation.
• Experience: Any history that demonstrates you care and are great at communicating will excite us. Capable in front and backend frameworks: We are using TypeScript (React.js, Nest.js) and Java(Spring).
• Being open to other technologies as we might migrate to Node or Python near future.
• Infrastructure aware: Our services are served on Google Cloud, and we are using Kubernetes to manage them. You will work together with the team and DevOps engineer to maintain our infrastructure.
• T-shaped: It’s not important that you know everything to the nth degree, it is important that we can trust you to deliver, no matter what. You are open to trying new solutions and technologies to create the best product experience. Effective Communication: We aren’t looking for a hermit, you’ll need to discuss solutions with both technical and non-technical audiences. We are primarily remote so we expect you to proactively bridge the gap and collaborate without prompting.
• English Proficiency: Intermediate level or higher.

• Product Delivery: Proven track record of exceptional product delivery.
• Location: Based in the EMEA region, preferably within commuting distance of Katowice, Poland.
• Available to meet regularly for 1-2 days a week and a whole from time to time.

• Startup Experience: Relevant years of work experience in a startup environment.

• Build tools, Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud services-Google Cloud
