Senior Backend Engineer

ABOUT THE ROLE:

As a Senior Backend Engineer, you’ll help design and develop logistics platform with the focus on scalability and performance. You will cooperate with other teams and 3rd party to achieve goals.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

• Work on the software development process
• Collaborate with other teams to solve problems across a wide range of systems, processes, and technologies
• Create a system to visualize and manage data
• Take part in technical discussions about technologies

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

• Experience in Java
• Experience in Kotlin- nice to have
• Understanding of cloud computing principles and practices (Azure and Kubernetes experience are a plus)
• Experience in Terraform
• Experience with SQL databases (MySQL or PostgreSQL are a plus)
• Hands-on experience in writing production code for web applications
• Knowledge in concepts like API design, memory management, application security, optimization techniques and distributed applications
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging solutions
• Fluency in English and Polish
