Job description
- Position: Head of Engineering/VP of Engineering
- Salary: up to 60 000 PLN
- Working model: hybrid (1 day per week in the office (multiple cities available))
- Form of employment: B2B
We are leading a confidential search for a VP of Engineering role with one of our clients, and you might be the perfect fit if you:
- Have experience in a scaled-up organization (+100 FTEs)
- Are tech-savvy with a hands-on attitude (tech stack: Java/Node, Vanilla, React + Cloud)
- Have a proven track record in transformation and crisis management
- Excel in working with distributed, offshore teams
- Possess high proficiency in English and exceptional communication skills
Requirements:
- You will work alongside the CEO of the company, in a distributed environment in which you will need to define a long term technology roadmap and strategy.
- You will be in charge of conducting the change management of the organization during its scale up phase.
- You will need to optimize the cost strategy with external vendors and providers such as cloud solutions
- You will manage and lead by example distributed teams in Europe and Asia
- You will contribute to engineering excellence: lead company-wide initiatives to improve our ways of performing while scaling the business
