DevOps/Site Reliability Engineer (Telcom)

We’re hiring an experienced SRE / DevOps Engineer to help build and secure complex on-premise infrastructure for a major European telecom. This isn’t just another cloud-native project. It’s a high-impact observability platform designed for scale, security, and performance.

About the product:

You’ll be working on a mission-critical observability platform that one of Europe’s largest telecom operators uses. The product ingests and processes millions of metrics per second from network devices across multiple countries - ensuring real-time visibility, performance monitoring, and compliance at scale.

We’re transitioning from SNMP-based monitoring to modern streaming telemetry over gRPC, deploying infrastructure and data pipelines in Kubernetes.

What will you be working on?

• Designing and preparing on-premise Kubernetes deployments in new countries and administering existing k8s clusters (updates, monitoring)
• Operating high-security environments (offline installations, configuring SELinux)
• Defining and updating hardening plans for clusters
• Automating operations and repetitive tasks using Ansible
• Collaborating on Grafana dashboard development and integration with observability pipelines
• Supporting developers with deployments and troubleshooting infrastructure-related issues

What are we looking for? 🕵️‍♀️

• 5+ years of experience as an SRE, DevOps, or Infrastructure Engineer
• Hands-on experience with setting up and managing Kubernetes clusters in on-premise infrastructure
• Proficiency in Linux systems, including SELinux, systemd, and low-level troubleshooting
• Solid understanding of networking (WireGuard, routing (BGP), iptables, IPSec, routing principles)
