Senior Software Engineer (JavaScript)

Join a team that handles an impressive scale of about half a million events per minute!

The team develops and maintains cloud-agnostic serverless apps deployed in a telco environment under extreme load with high stability requirements. The project uses Javascript, Kafka, Kubernetes, OpenSearch, Grafana, and networking tools.

130 - 190 PLN + VAT (B2B) per hour

16 000- 23 000 PLN gross per month (employment contract)

We work 100% remotely or from the office in Łódź :)

What you can expect?

• High level of decision-making and responsibility for your actions. Support is available if needed, but most issues are resolved independently
• Daily tasks may include fixes, modifications, and adding new features. There is a backlog that allows you to select tasks and tailor them to your own skill set
• Tasks are sometimes adjusted "on the go", and flexibility in approach to solutions is required

What you will be working on?

• As a team member, you will take end-to-end responsibility for the system of serverless apps having a defined business goal
• Implementing and maintaining infrastructure and dashboards, as well as identifying the root causes of issues that may arise (e.g., in Kafka or Kubernetes)
• Working with clients, which includes proposing solutions

Experience that will be crucial:

• 5+ years of commercial experience with JavaScript
• experience with Kafka, Grafana, OpenSearch and Kubernetes
• day-to-day communication in English with a client

Nice-to-have:

• Basic understanding of network protocols and infrastructure
