You'll be joining as Senior Data Expert our dynamic Data & Analytics team, a crucial part of Displate's success. We are the architects of our data warehouse, the creators of insightful dashboards, and the partners who empower every department with data-driven decision-making. This is a unique opportunity to drive cutting-edge projects in areas like Marketing Mix Modeling, Multi-Touch Attribution, and Geo-Lift testing. You'll also collaborate closely with our performance marketing team, becoming their go-to data expert.

Your responsibilities:

• Masterfully utilize SQL (BigQuery), Python (and other fit-for-purpose tools) to expertly query, analyze, and interpret intricate datasets originating from diverse marketing channels (social media, paid search, email campaigns, etc.).
• Proactively identify key areas for optimization and deliver data-validated recommendations to refine budget allocation and maximize return on investment.
• Actively support and contribute to the evolution and practical application of sophisticated attribution models (including but not limited to MMM and MTA solutions like Forvio.com and ExactTag).
• Collaborate in the design, meticulous execution, and rigorous analysis of Geo-Lift experiments, leveraging US Census data and other relevant datasets to precisely measure the incremental impact of marketing initiatives.

General expectations

• 5+ years of demonstrable experience in data analysis, with a laser focus on e-commerce and/or performance marketing analytics.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving capabilities, underpinned by a strong understanding of traffic and conversion analytics, advanced attribution modeling techniques, and rigorous ROI measurement.
• Hands-on expertise in effectively manipulating and analyzing both structured and unstructured datasets using SQL (advanced BigQuery SQL proficiency strongly preferred), Excel/Google Sheets, and leading data visualization and business intelligence platforms (e.g., Looker Studio). Proficiency in Python for data analysis and automation is a significant advantage.
• In-depth understanding of state-of-the-art attribution modeling methodologies (MMM, MTA) and proven experience in their practical application.
• Familiarity with Geo-Lift testing frameworks and econometric principles is highly valued.
• Communicative in English and ideally Polish, with a proven ability to effectively communicate complex data insights and collaborate seamlessly with both technical and non-technical colleagues.
• Demonstrated ability to operate autonomously, take ownership of initiatives, and effectively manage projects from inception to completion, while simultaneously being a highly collaborative and supportive team member.

Nice to have:

• Deep domain expertise in the e-commerce sector, with a particular emphasis on product-based e-commerce models.
• Extensive practical experience with the Google Marketing Platform suite (Google Analytics/GA4/360, Google Tag Manager, Google Ads, etc.).
• Working knowledge and hands-on experience with the Google Cloud Platform (GCP) ecosystem, including BigQuery, VertexAI, Colab, Cloud Run Functions, and related services.
• Advanced proficiency in Python or R for statistical modeling, advanced data manipulation, and custom analytics development.
• Compelling Data Storytelling & Communication: Skillfully translate complex, multi-dimensional data findings into clear, concise, and compelling recommendations tailored for diverse audiences.
