We are looking for a Senior React Developer for our UK client, who specializes in psychometrics tools like personality questionnaires to enhance hiring and personnel development.

Responsibilities: 

• We are looking for a React Developer for our UK client, who specializes in psychometrics tools like personality questionnaires to enhance hiring and personnel development.

• Responsibilities: 

• As a React Developer you will be developing and maintaining modern React applications using TypeScript, applying up-to-date React patterns to ensure clean, scalable, and maintainable code; 

• You will be configuring and maintaining bundling tools such as Webpack, ensuring efficient builds, optimized asset delivery, and smooth development workflows;  

• You will be implementing performance optimization techniques, including code-splitting, tree-shaking, lazy loading, and caching strategies, to improve application responsiveness and load times in real-world usage;  

• You will be integrating React-based front-end applications with ASP.NET Core MVC and Razor Pages, ensuring seamless communication and consistent behavior across frontend and backend layers;  

• You will be collaborating closely with backend teams, aligning on API contracts, data models, and architectural decisions to support stable and scalable integrations;  

• You will be conducting code reviews and mentoring junior developers, sharing best practices and supporting code quality across the team;  

• You will be ensuring accessibility compliance according to WCAG 2.2 AA standards, applying inclusive design principles and secure coding practices throughout the development process; 

• You will be maintaining robust test coverage, ensuring application reliability through well-structured and meaningful automated tests. 

Requirements: 

• 5+ years of experience with React and TypeScript, ensuring the ability to design and maintain complex, production-grade frontend applications; 

• Familiarity with Razor Pages and ASP.NET MVC, allowing effective integration between React frontends and .NET-based server-side solutions;

• Experience with .NET Web APIs, authentication patterns, and middleware configuration, enabling secure and reliable frontend–backend communication;

• Strong understanding of state management and data-fetching strategies, ensuring predictable application behavior and efficient data flow; 

• Proven ability to optimize performance and manage complex bundling configurations, supporting scalable and high-performing frontend systems; 

• Proficiency with Git workflows and collaborative development practices, ensuring smooth teamwork and controlled code evolution;

• Solid knowledge of testing and accessibility standards, with hands-on experience using tools such as Jest and React Testing Library;

• Demonstrable experience improving real-world application performance, focusing on actual user experience rather than synthetic metrics alone.
