Business Analyst

DiPocket is a B2B2C Fintech offering turnkey white labelled embedded payments solutions ranging from financial apps for loyalty and customer acquisition to physical and virtual gift cards, to cards for disbursements (e.g. loans, gig economy, employee benefits) to wearables for cashless events. A principal member of Mastercard and VISA, DiPocket operates across the EEA with a focus on Central Europe and offers tokenizable cards in most European currencies. Established in 2015, DiPocket is an Authorized Electronic Money Institution regulated by the Bank of Lithuania as well as the FCA and employs a growing team of more than 100 people across its locations in Vilnius, London, Warsaw, and Kyiv. Joining our team as a Business Analyst your main responsibilities would involve analyzing and documenting the detailed functional and non-functional requirements of the business in a relevant, traceable, testable, verifiable format, including workflow diagrams, use cases, business rules analysis, process flows, data flows, test cases, etc.

What would you do? 

• Identify AS-IS process and exercise GAP analysis to define needed changes.
• Prepare specifications in a form of diagrams and tables.
• Write use cases with mockups of graphical user interfaces.
• Develop user stories, use cases, process flow diagrams – “Happy Path” and “Alternative Path”.
• Interview and negotiate business requirements with stakeholders/clients.
• Support system change processes from requirements through implementation.
• Understand different internal stakeholders’ needs by gathering various data related to finance, sales, legal, and other teams’ processes.

What would we expect from you? 

• Proven experience as a Business Analyst, preferably within the banking or financial services sector.
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and experience working in Agile environments.
• Experience with process analysis, requirements gathering, and automation projects.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented approach.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in process modeling in BPMN, UML notation.
• Understanding of technical aspects/requirements of IT systems.
• Knowledge of IT architectures for financial systems.
• Basic knowledge of SQL(Oracle), REST API.
• Experience in API specification analysis.
• Business analysis experience with financial institutions, preferably in Fintech.
• Fluent written and spoken in English.
