We are looking for an experienced Lead Python Developer to join our team and provide technical leadership and mentorship.
- Develop and maintain Python-based microservices that power our LLM-driven tools—such as the Rejection Bot, Appeal Bot, and Timeline Bot—as well as new internal AI platforms.
- Connect seamlessly with internal APIs and services (e.g., PTX, Decision Store, OSIS) and external tools (e.g., Slack, Kiki, FullStory).
- Use observability tools like Datadog and Langsmith to monitor performance metrics (latency, error rates, user satisfaction) and continuously refine system efficiency.
- Work with Product, Data Science, Legal, and Customer Service to ensure systems are scalable, compliant, and user-focused.
- Lead by example with code reviews, CI/CD pipelines, Dockerized workflows, testing strategies, and microservice architecture—all in a learning-focused, fast-paced environment.
- Expert-level proficiency in Python (10+ years of commercial experience) for backend development, scripting, and automation.
- Mastery of Python features, data structures, and frameworks like Django, Flask, or FastAPI, as well as robust testing practices (pytest). Experience with Pandas, NumPy, or machine learning tools is a bonus.
- Strong AWS/cloud experience (e.g., Lambda, ECS) and microservice system design.
- Interest in LLMs, NLP, or prompt engineering is a major plus.
- Hands-on with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and Git workflows.
- Comfortable working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Familiarity with internal bank systems such as CVAR, Redshift, Decision Store, OSIS, and PTX is highly beneficial.
- Higher education with a profile in Computer Science or related
- English level min. B2.
