We are seeking a skilled and motivated Tech Lead to join an innovative technology team building scalable, high-performance systems. In this role, you will lead a small team of engineers to design and maintain reliable backend services and APIs for a modern SaaS platform. You will guide technical direction, ensure system quality, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful, production-ready solutions. This position suits a hands-on leader who excels at problem-solving, mentoring, and driving engineering excellence.

Requirements

• Proven experience in technical leadership, managing small teams and delivering reliable, production-ready software solutions

• Advanced proficiency in C# / .NET (preferably .NET 8 or later) for building and maintaining scalable web APIs

• Strong SQL Server expertise, including schema design, indexing, query optimization, and concurrency management

• Solid understanding of SaaS platform architecture, distributed systems, and performance optimization principles

• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to set clear expectations, provide actionable feedback, and manage stakeholder alignment effectively

• Demonstrated accountability and ownership, ensuring codebases, documentation, and monitoring systems remain in excellent condition

Nice to Have

• Experience with Azure or equivalent cloud platforms, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure automation tools

• Familiarity with feature flag systems, blue-green or canary deployments, and rollback procedures

• Background in SDK development, media streaming, or high-volume event processing systems

Main Responsibilities

• Lead and guide a small engineering team, ensuring smooth delivery of high-quality, production-grade solutions that create real business impact.

• Design, develop, and optimize backend services and APIs using modern .NET and SQL Server, supporting a scalable multi-tenant SaaS environment.

• Drive technical design and architecture decisions, focusing on reliability, maintainability, and performance through effective use of caching, rate limiting, and resilient patterns.

• Define and track measurable outcomes, maintaining a consistent release cadence and iterating based on performance metrics and feedback.

• Ensure operational excellence through comprehensive monitoring, alerting, and observability practices while meeting availability and latency objectives.

• Partner with cross-functional teams (Product, Design, Customer Success) to align technical goals with strategic priorities and translate business needs into clear technical deliverables.

• Encourage efficient workflows and collaboration, utilizing clear documentation, decision records, and process checklists.

• Integrate AI tools thoughtfully into development workflows to improve productivity, documentation, and testing, while maintaining security and accuracy standards.
