A fast-moving tech company is hiring a Software Engineer to work on impactful backend and frontend systems. This role is ideal for engineers who are comfortable working independently, thrive in low-process environments, and enjoy solving real-world technical challenges.

Requirements:

• Proficient in modern typed languages (e.g. Python 3.10+, Golang, TypeScript, or Rust)
• Experience with databases such as MySQL, MariaDB, OpenSearch, ElasticSearch, or Redshift
• Exposure to AI tools: vector search, LLMs, similarity search, embeddings
• Hands-on with infrastructure as code tools like Terraform or Pulumi
• Experience in cloud-native environments, especially AWS and Kubernetes
• Jenkins or similar CI tools
• Bonus: Background in early-stage startups or projects involving search

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain backend and frontend components for scalable applications
• Build and refine data pipelines and AI-powered features
• Identify ways to integrate AI into core systems
• Design solutions from high-level problems, not pre-defined tickets
• Write maintainable code with solid testing practices
• Take full ownership of tasks in a lean, engineer-driven environment
