We're looking for a Senior Software Engineer for an AI startup that is currently developing the world’s first fully autonomous AI teammate capable of independently resolving software bugs from start to finish, allowing engineering teams to focus on new features and innovation. This system functions as a self-directed virtual team member, which is built on a novel multi-agent operating system. It runs in the background and manages the complete bug-fixing lifecycle with full transparency. 

Requirements

• At least 8+ years of software development experience. 

• At least 4 years of experience with Python.

• At least 1 year of professional experience building generative AI technologies and agentic systems utilizing LLMs and frameworks like LangChain or LlamaIndex.

• Proven expertise in backend development and experience shipping and maintaining production systems.

• A self-starter with the ability to work independently and navigate the challenges of a fast-paced startup environment

Nice to have

• A strong background in cloud computing (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and Kubernetes.

• Experience with other programming languages such as Java, C++, or TypeScript.

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science. A Master's degree or PhD is a strong plus.

Responsibilities

• Stabilization of the existing system: 

• Auditing current workflows, backend services, and Python modules.

• Identifying bottlenecks and failure points in the pipeline.

• Improving system reliability, error handling, logging, and observability.

• Refactor fragile code and redesign components that can’t scale.

• Harden integrations with LLMs.

• Ensuring the entire bug-fixing loop works consistently end-to-end.
