We’re looking for a Lead DevOps Engineer to help shape the future of cloud infrastructure and DevOps practices. You will lead a small team, mentor engineers, and set the technical direction across cloud, CI/CD, observability, and service reliability. This is a hands-on role requiring technical depth, ownership, and cross-functional collaboration.

Requirements

• At least 6 years of experience in DevOps roles

• 2+ years in a leadership or mentoring role 

• 3+ years working with public cloud infrastructure (AWS preferred).

• Expertise in Docker and Kubernetes containerisation.

• Strong experience with Linux infrastructure and cloud-native workloads.

• Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).

• Experience with CI/CD pipeline design, logging, and monitoring for development teams.

• Scripting and deployment automation skills.

• Exposure to cybersecurity frameworks (NIST, SOC2) and compliance practices.

• Familiarity with AWS Security Tools and container vulnerability scanning.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a small team of DevOps Engineers.

• Drive the technical roadmap for cloud infrastructure, CI/CD, observability, and reliability.

• Collaborate with engineering, security, and business teams to align DevOps practices with product goals.

• Design, build, and maintain scalable, secure cloud environments.

• Implement and improve CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and automation.

• Ensure high availability and performance in production environments.

• Automate operations to reduce manual work and increase system reliability.

• Share clear documentation and knowledge across teams to foster best practices.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with AWS-specific advanced tooling and security practices.

• Exposure to supporting large-scale, high-throughput data platforms.

• Familiarity with AI/ML infrastructure in production environments.
