A data-focused innovation unit within a rapidly growing real estate investment group is seeking a Lead AI Data Engineer to drive the evolution of its advanced data platform. This role combines hands-on engineering with leadership, applying machine learning and modern data infrastructure to support investment analysis, property performance, and operational decision-making.

Requirements:

1. 5+ years in data engineering with exposure to ML/AI projects
2. Strong Python skills (ML/data libraries); JS and SQL are a plus
3. Solid grasp of data architecture, CI/CD, and scalable backend systems
4. Experience mentoring and leading technical teams
5. Proven track record of building data pipelines in fast-paced settings
6. Cloud experience, preferably with GCP and its AI/ML tools

Key Responsibilities:

1. Lead and mentor a small but growing team of data engineers and analysts
2. Design a scalable, cloud-native architecture
3. Build backend systems and pipelines for real-time analytics
4. Deliver data solutions that support fast, actionable insights
5. Deploy AI/ML models and integrate them into internal systems
6. Collaborate with tech and business teams to extract valuable insights
7. Ensure high data platform reliability and meet internal SLAs
