We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Business Analyst with expertise in GDSN (Global Data Synchronization Network) to join our client, a leading global provider of product content and data solutions. You will play a critical role in ensuring high-quality product data models that align with GDSN standards, supporting seamless data exchange for global trading partners. This is a high-impact role for an individual with strong data analysis skills, a passion for data quality, and the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and business stakeholders.

Requirements

• 5+ years of proven experience in data analysis/data transformation (or related fields)

• Strong knowledge of GDSN attributes and choreography

• Strong command of English and German

• Experience with SQL, Excel, Visio, or other data analysis and visualization tools

• Strong competencies in data integrity, quality assurance, and pattern recognition

• Ability to quickly learn and master workflows, with curiosity for how systems operate

• Excellent communication skills to clearly convey insights and recommendations

• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and customers during onboarding

• Detail-oriented, adaptable to ambiguity, and able to manage multiple priorities

Responsibilities

• Analyze customer requirements and provide recommendations to align data models with GDSN standards

• Review, design, and improve product data models for accuracy, completeness, and compliance

• Identify and document new trends, business rules, and enhancements to increase data quality

• Support customer workshops and sessions to define best practice solutions

• Act as a subject-matter expert on GDSN for both internal teams and external clients

• Manage onboarding processes, including account configurations, trading partner connections, and data flow setup

• Perform data investigations and analysis, creating action plans and implementing corrective solutions

• Create and maintain tickets for data model updates, quality rules, and configurations

• Coordinate activities within the software development lifecycle to drive project implementations

• Report, track, and communicate project status to stakeholders at all levels

• Ensure development outputs meet customer business needs through rigorous quality assurance
