For one of our Client a rapidly growing, award winning Software and Consultancy Company
working with the largest retailers in the world, we are actively looking for candidates with 3-5 years’ experience in .Net (C#), SQL Server, and XML to join client dynamic and leading edge Software and Consultancy Company. A successful candidate can demonstrate an aptitude to learn, take on new skills and be willing to problem
solve technical issues. Candidates must have relevant experience working onsite with clients
in a technical role, preferably within the retail industry.

Localization: Warsaw - City Center
Responsibilities:
- Requirement gathering, assisting with work estimation
- Mapping and transforming data
- Build and unit test features to specification/design
- Develop and design solutions against existing standards and practises\
- Deployment activities in data centres and on premise
- Represent Appriss Retail during projects, including onsite visits, taking ownership
where necessary - Problem solve client technical issues
- Liaise with internal/external development, testing and support teams
- Understanding defect management and release management processe
- Deliver technical documents, specifications and knowledge transfers
- Knowledge transfer and collaborate with other technical consultants
- Contribute to improving technical processes
- Peer code reviewing to ensure high quality project delivery
Skills:
- Proven experience utilising at least one of the following technologies:
o .NET – C#
o Microsoft SQL Server and TSQL
o XML, XSLT, XSD and XPath
o ReSTful web services
o JSON - Development work using Windows Workflows is desirable
- Experience working within an Agile environment
- Experience using Visual Studio IDE or SQL Server Management Studio
- Experience in Business Intelligence and/or integration solutions is desirable
- Candidates will demonstrate good communication and inter-personal skills
- Familiarity of the retail sector or POS or is preferred, but not essential
- Strong experience with Windows features: MSMQ, IIS, Event Viewer, PowerShell
- Source control principles (versioning, branching, merging)
- Experience using HTTP and ReSTful web services
