Our Client is an international IT company offering a broad range of solutions that harness advances in healthcare information, technology, analytics and human ingenuity to drive healthcare forward.

Currently, for our Client, we are looking for Candidates to join the Warsaw team as a Java Developer.

A Java Developer will join the team that deals with a wide variety of patient-level health care data, which is used by RWAS Technology to solve complex healthcare problems for our clients ranging from supporting retrospective clinical studies to disease progression projections.

What You Will Do

Participate in system design, development, deployment and maintenance
Configuration and prototyping of new systems
Conduct peer code reviews, mentor junior software engineers and provide thought leadership in the software engineering domain
Contribute to the definition and adopting of technical standards
Work closely with the data analysts to identify and provide required data
Create comprehensive automated unit and integration tests

Who You Are

Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Software Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or other related fields
4+ years of experience in designing, developing enterprise applications in JAVA (Spring/LEE), Scala or mixed
Experience with implementing Agile practices (SCRUM)
Experience with TDD, CI, CD
Experience with VCS preferably GIT
Knowledge of build automation tools such as Maven, Gradle, SBT
Knowledge of algorithms & design patterns and how to apply them effectively
English - communicative level
Excellent analytical & troubleshooting skills
Strong collaboration, written and verbal skills

Additional Skills

Experience with Microservices Architecture and/or Big Data Stream/Batch processing
Experience with one or more of: Apache Kafka, Apache Spark, HDFS
Knowledge of the NoSQL database such as Hive, HBase, Cassandra, ElasticSearch
