We are looking for a Software Engineer in Test for one of our clients, an international company which is a global leader in premium video streaming distribution for live and on-demand content across the entertainment and sports industries. In this project you will be a key member tasked with supporting a growing application set delivered to a substantial customer base.
Responsibilities:
- QA Engineer will be a key member tasked with supporting a growing application set delivered to a substantial customer base
- This role offers the opportunity for a QA engineer to act as a key pivot in a fast-moving, exciting new venture within a motivated and energetic team
- Primary focus of the team will be to provide a great, consistent media consumption experience throughout multiple devices and formats, by building on top of the existing data and video platforms
- This role sits within an existing team, integrated in a broader, talented engineering group
Qualifications:
- Experience testing REST APIs and good understanding of how they work
- Hands-on experience with automation frameworks, both on the backend, but also on the UI (AngularJS / React)
- Experience with Continuous Integration tools such as Jenkins, Travis
- Experience and understanding of exploratory testing
- A keen interest in QA/Testing technology
- Aptitude to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes
- Good general communication skills
- Proactive and team player
- English - B2/C1
Nice to have:
- Proficiency with testing tools, including but not limited to: Charles Proxy, Postman, Firebug,
- Chrome Dev Tools
- Experience with UNIX command line
