Full-Stack JavaScript Technical Lead

We are building a large, high-load fundraising platform for American schools and educational organizations. The platform supports 200,000+ active users and, empowers educational, sports, and cultural projects across the U.S.

As the Technical Lead, you will be responsible for driving the platform's technical direction and development while maintaining its stability and scalability.   

Responsibilities:

- Lead all code reviews and set clear technical direction, implementing high-quality development practices across the team.  

- Design and implement solutions to improve system stability, handle high traffic, and optimize performance.  

- Manage and enhance the platform’s cloud infrastructure using Google Cloud Platform (GCP), focusing on security, monitoring, and efficiency.  

- Technically manage a team of 10 people, collaborating closely with the product owner to align on business and technical goals.  

Requirements:

- At least an Upper-Intermediate level of English;  

- 8+ years of professional experience in software development, with expertise in high-load systems and scalable applications; 

- Proficiency in backend development with Node.js/NestJS, and frontend development using TypeScript and Vercel (Next.js);  

- Extensive experience working with cloud infrastructure, particularly Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and implementing DevSecOps practices;

- A proven history of leading and coordinating development teams on long-term projects.  

- Strong experience in building projects from scratch and scaling them for hundreds of thousands of users;

- Deep understanding of system design, performance optimization, and secure coding practices.

- Strong communication skills and the ability to align technical decisions with business goals.   

Preferred Qualifications:  

- Experience with high-traffic platforms in FinTech or similar domains.  

- Familiarity with modern monitoring and logging tools for cloud-based systems.
