Snowflake Administrator (Remote)
DevAbundance is partnering with a leading healthcare company to find a highly experienced Snowflake Administrator to join their team. This is a remote position with a start date as soon as the candidate successfully completes the interview process.
Monthly B2B salary: 26,000 - 31,000 PLN net.
About the Role:
As a Snowflake Administrator, you will join our client’s data platform team to shape and scale a modern Snowflake-based analytics environment. You will work in a collaborative, non-corporate atmosphere where experienced engineers share knowledge and support your professional development. Your focus will be on building robust ETL pipelines, designing efficient Snowflake data models, and ensuring the reliability, security, and performance of the entire data ecosystem. You will play a key role in integrating diverse data sources, optimizing transformations, and strengthening governance across the platform.
Key Responsibilities:
Build and optimize ETL pipelines using tools such as dbt and Airflow
Design, develop, and maintain Snowflake data schemas and data models
Develop SQL queries, views, and stored procedures, and optimize transformation logic
Implement and manage Snowflake features including Streams, Tasks, Stages, and Snowpipe
Deploy Snowflake on GCP and build integrations for various internal and external data sources
Monitor and tune Snowflake performance, usage, and storage to ensure cost-effective operation
Ensure strong data governance, enforce security policies, and maintain role-based access controls
Troubleshoot data quality issues, validate data accuracy, and ensure end-to-end pipeline reliability
Candidate Profile:
Strong hands-on experience with ETL development, data modeling, and large-scale data processing
Solid knowledge of Snowflake, including schema design, performance tuning, and operational features
Proficiency with dbt and Airflow, or similar workflow orchestration and transformation tools
Advanced SQL skills, with the ability to build efficient queries, views, and stored procedures
Experience deploying and integrating Snowflake within GCP environments
Familiarity with data governance, access control frameworks, and security best practices
Ability to diagnose data quality issues, debug pipeline failures, and ensure consistent data accuracy
Knowledge of Python and experience integrating diverse data sources is highly beneficial
Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams
