Application and IT Systems Administrator (Hybrid - Warsaw)

DevAbundance is partnering with a leading fintech brand to find a skilled Application and IT Systems Administrator to join their infrastructure team. This is a hybrid position (2 days remote, 3 days from the office in Warsaw) with a start date as soon as the candidate successfully completes the interview process.

Employment Contract (UoP): 9,000 - 13,000 PLN gross. 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Manage, monitor, and maintain the core system 

• Support the automation of operational processes using Ansible, Terraform, and scripting languages in a Linux environment

• Create alerts and dashboards in monitoring systems (Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk) for proactive problem detection

• Support the implementation and testing of new solutions to improve application stability

• Participate in incident response, conduct post-mortem analyses, and implement improvements

• Perform night and weekend on-call duties according to the schedule (remote on-call)

Candidate Profile:

• Solid experience in application administration within a Linux environment

• Working knowledge of a selected Linux distribution and shell tools (Bash)

• Experience configuring and maintaining application and database servers

• Knowledge of SQL and experience working with databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL)

• Ability to analyze logs, resolve application issues, and optimize performance

• Basic knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)

• Experience with payment systems or in the fintech sector is a plus

• Exposure to automation tools (Ansible, Terraform) and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab) is beneficial

• Familiarity with Cloud platforms (GCP, Azure or AWS) and monitoring systems (Prometheus, Splunk, Grafana) is highly valued

Interview Process:

1. Phone screening: 20 minute get to know you for you to learn about the project

2. 1st office (Warsaw) interview: 1 hour with future manager and HR specialist

3. 2nd office (Warsaw) interview: 1 hour with infrastructure and HR leaders
