In Demant we are driving state-of-the-art innovations and global service excellence within Hearing Healthcare and we are now looking for a Junior to Regular Cloud Engineer for our Cloud Center of Excellence team in our Demant Warsaw office. You do not need to have a background in cloud solutions and public cloud providers to apply for this position. We will make sure you receive necessary training, and you will have a mentor in the team that will guide and coach you.

Description

In this role as Junior or Regular Cloud Engineer you will be part of our Platform Engineering team. You will work close with the other Cloud Engineers in developing and maintaining our Internal Developer Portal, which is a new project we have recently started up. You will learn to develop modular cloud-based systems, using cutting edge cloud technology and you will learn how to automate the infrastructure of our Public Cloud Providers, Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud Platform. You will be part of the SCRUM team and have an influence on how we define new features and prioritize the backlog.

Job responsibilities

Develop modular cloud-based systems in accordance with best practices
Ensure efficient functioning of data storage and process functions in accordance with company security policies and best practices in cloud security
Identify, analyze, and resolve infrastructure vulnerabilities and application deployment issues
Participate to regular reviews of the existing systems and make recommendations for improvements
Interact with stakeholders, provide cloud support, and make recommendations based on stakeholder needs
Implement and automate security controls, governance processes and compliance validation
Build and Manage Azure DevOps pipelines for CI/CD and Release Management workflows
Manage Azure DevOps repos and branch policies
Participate to risk and vulnerability assessment activities aimed at identifying cybersecurity issues, and assist in the deployment of security measures
Assist in incident management and root cause analysis
Coordination and communication within the team and with business stakeholders

Professional competences

Bachelor's Degree in related field, alternatively years of experience can be used in lieu of your degree
Good communication and stakeholder management skills is a plus
Understanding of C#/.NET is a plus
Some troubleshooting experience is a plus
Experience with PowerShell and/or bash scripting is a plus
Working knowledge of various tools, open-source technologies, and cloud services is a plus
Awareness of critical concepts in DevOps and Agile principles is a plus
Experience working with Cloud platforms and technologies is a plus
Experience working within Healthcare or other compliance regulated industries is a plus
Experienced with agile methodologies (SCRUM) is a plus
