Web Performance and Technical SEO Specialist

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Web Performance and Technical SEO Specialist to join our clients dynamic.

In this role, you will optimize performance and technical SEO for web platforms, ensuring they meet industry-leading standards.

You’ll play a key role in enhancing site speed, accessibility, and SEO functionality to ensure effective crawling, rendering, and indexing by search engines. Contract Type: B2B Contract

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with development teams to identify and address Core Web Vitals bottlenecks.
• Conduct in-depth debugging and analysis to proactively resolve front-end performance issues.
• Lead, mentor, and manage a small team focused on web performance and technical SEO improvements.
• Diagnose and resolve technical SEO issues related to crawling, rendering, and indexing.
• Conduct regular technical SEO audits to ensure ongoing performance and prevent regression.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders to share technical concepts and provide optimization recommendations.
• Define, prioritize, and organize tasks related to web performance and technical SEO.
• Use KPIs and relevant metrics to make informed, data-driven decisions.

Requirements:

• Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Familiarity with rendering techniques such as SSR, CSR, SSG, hydration, and partial hydration.
• Experience with RUM and synthetic monitoring tools.
• Proven experience in optimizing Core Web Vitals, debugging front-end performance issues, and implementing technical fixes.
• Experience querying CrUX data in BigQuery.
• Strong analytical skills to interpret performance data and translate it into actionable strategies.
• Project management and team leadership experience, including planning, defining, prioritizing, and organizing technical tasks.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and create comprehensive dashboards for progress tracking.
• Knowledge of web components and SvelteKit is a strong plus.
