Tivoli Senior Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Tivoli Engineer to join our team, working with one of the largest global automotive corporations. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing data protection and recovery systems to ensure business continuity. If you're skilled in IBM Spectrum Protect and backup technologies, we want to hear from you!

✅  Role & Responsibilities:

•       Architecture, Designing, Implementation and administration of the Data Protection and recovery

•       Conducting the Restore Drill for Application / Database / OS.

·      SLA- and Availability-Management

·      Complete management of Backup and Recovery implementation

(IBM Spectrum Protect) incl. management of backup/restore policies, coordination of maintenance windows, etc.

👉 Requirements:

•       Relevant Experience: 7+ years in IBM Storage Protect, Data Protection and Business Continuity Plan (preferably as administrator)

•       Qualification: Bachelors / Masters / Equivalent

•       In depth knowledge and experience in Infrastructure Forecasting and Capacity Planning to streamline the data protection needs of the enterprise business.

•       Expert in backup planning and restoration for databases Oracle (RMAN), SAP and variations, DB2.

•       Expert in Library Management. Configuration and administration of any robotic device like IBM TS Libraries.

•       Must have intermediate level understanding and experience with SAN SWITCHES, and Storage Administration. Hands on experience on SAN Switches (Zoning, configuration etc)

•       Must have some knowledge and experience in SAN environment such as IBM, Huawei or NetApp

•       Must have excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
