We are seeking a highly skilled Test Automation Engineer to join our team in Wroclaw, Poland. This role is perfect for a candidate who is experienced, proactive, and capable of building Selenium Java frameworks from scratch.
Job Title: Test Automation Engineer
Location: Wroclaw, Poland (3 days hybrid)
Rate: 750–850 PLN/day
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and strategies for complex workflows using advanced test automation methodologies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create test data and ensure application quality through backend database queries and API calls.
- Use test management tools to design, manage, and execute test cases while maintaining full traceability throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Design and implement automated testing frameworks for UI and API using tools like Selenium, REST Assured, and Cucumber.
- Communicate project statuses, risks, and quality assurance insights to the QA Manager.
- Collaborate effectively with globally distributed teams to align on testing objectives and deliverables.
Required Skills and Experience:

5+ years of experience testing complex workflows with a strong emphasis on test automation.
- In-depth knowledge of Agile methodologies, the software development lifecycle (SDLC), and defect lifecycle management.
- Proficiency in test planning, strategy creation, execution, and maintaining traceability matrices.
- Expertise in test automation tools such as Selenium, REST Assured, JMeter, Appium, Cucumber, etc.
- Experience with test management tools like JIRA and Test Rail, and test design tools like Hexawise.
- Strong programming skills in Java, with knowledge of shell scripting as a plus.
- Familiarity with CI tools like GitLab/GitHub and experience with cloud platforms such as Azure.
- Excellent interpersonal skills for effective stakeholder management and team collaboration.
