Tech Lead – Python, Azure Databricks & ADF

Dear Consultant,

We are seeking an experienced Tech Lead with strong expertise in Python development, Azure Data Factory (ADF), and Azure Databricks to design and deliver large-scale data analytics and data warehouse solutions. Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop scalable data engineering solutions using Python, ADF, and Databricks
• Implement Object-Oriented Design and leverage design patterns in development
• Translate business logic into production-grade Azure-based data solutions
• Build data pipelines for multi-format data, integrating with Data Lake, SOA, and warehouse architectures
• Work with Azure Gen2 Storage, Azure SQL, Azure Functions, and Logic Apps
• Utilize Spark (Scala/Python) and T-SQL for data processing
• Manage and deliver multiple fast-paced projects with high attention to detail
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and ensure consistent code quality
• Handle pressure situations with structured problem-solving and communication

Required Skills & Experience:

• 8–10 years in data engineering with 5+ years in Python, and 4+ years in Azure Databricks
• Hands-on experience with:
• Azure Data Factory
• Azure Databricks
• Azure Gen2 Storage, Azure SQL, Azure Function App, Logic App
• Spark (Scala/Python), T-SQL
• 
• Familiarity with Spark execution model (though limited experience in Spark performance tuning is acceptable)
• Strong understanding of OOP principles and software design patterns
• Manual testing experience; knowledge of automated frameworks is a plus
• Strong communication, team leadership, and problem-solving skills
