Job description

Our client, a global leader in next-generation digital services and consulting is currently seeking a number of Solaris Engineers to be based out of either Wroclaw or Krakow, to help build and develop patches. WebEx interviews and immediate starts.

Requirements and skills for the role:

Building Solaris 10 and Solaris 11 packages and patches
Engineering, testing and releasing the patches
Test documentation and evidence
Patching of the engineering instances
Updating firmware in this for all supported platforms.
Update Technical standards
Ad-Hoc integrations and updated of infra components
Support to assist about 20 changes per year
Work with other infra teams to update or integrate new agents or other products in to Solaris 10/11
Deal with about 50 support requests a year, taking up to half a day each
Governance / SME meetings
Attend monthly product planning meetings with product management 1 hour per month
Attend regular SME meetings 1 hour per month
Ability to burst the service for special projects such as complex upgrades or new hardware certifications
