Our client, a global leader in next-generation digital services and consulting is currently seeking a number of Solaris Engineers to be based out of either Wroclaw or Krakow, to help build and develop patches. WebEx interviews and immediate starts.
Requirements and skills for the role:
- Building Solaris 10 and Solaris 11 packages and patches
- Engineering, testing and releasing the patches
- Test documentation and evidence
- Patching of the engineering instances
- Updating firmware in this for all supported platforms.
- Update Technical standards
- Ad-Hoc integrations and updated of infra components
- Support to assist about 20 changes per year
- Work with other infra teams to update or integrate new agents or other products in to Solaris 10/11
- Deal with about 50 support requests a year, taking up to half a day each
- Governance / SME meetings
- Attend monthly product planning meetings with product management 1 hour per month
- Attend regular SME meetings 1 hour per month
- Ability to burst the service for special projects such as complex upgrades or new hardware certifications
