Software Delivery Engineer

Dear Consultant,

We are seeking a highly motivated Software Delivery Engineer (Contractor) to join our multinational clients team and contribute to developing and orchestrating, build/deploy pipeline, source code repository service, security scanner tooling, and other critical aspects of CI/CD.

The selected candidate will actively research and evaluate new tools and technologies to enhance the existing system.

This role requires an analytical mindset, strong technical expertise, and excellent communication skills. share CV if you are interested.

Role & Responsibilities:

As a Software Delivery Engineer, you will:

• Architect and design new functionality to enhance software delivery processes.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automation frameworks.
• Participate in code reviews, code scanning, and development best practices.
• Automate and simplify all aspects of software delivery.
• Research and recommend new technologies to improve automation and efficiency.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Strong experience with Linux and scripting (Python or Shell).
• Hands-on experience in GitLab administration (or GitHub, Bitbucket).
• Solid understanding of CI/CD processes and automation techniques.
• Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or AWS CDK.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services (EC2, ECS, S3, Lambdas, etc.).
• Expertise in Docker/containers.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Black Duck for security and compliance management.
• Knowledge of Checkmarx for static application security testing (SAST).
• Familiarity with container security scanning tools.

• Position Type: B2B Contract
• Location: Hybrid (Lodz, Warsaw, Wroclaw) – 2 days a week onsite
• Client: Banking sector
