Dear Consultant,



We are seeking a highly skilled Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) with strong expertise in Python, PySpark, and Databricks to join our multinational client distributed engineering team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in building and optimizing data-driven systems while ensuring operational excellence, automation, and reliability at scale. Location: Remote – EU-based

Type: Full-time / Contract (Remote within EU

Experience: 5+ years in PySpark & Databricks (minimum)


Key Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain reliable and scalable data and infrastructure solutions.

  • Develop automation scripts and tooling using Python.

  • Implement and optimize PySpark and Databricks workflows for large-scale data processing.

  • Manage and maintain CI/CD pipelines in Jenkins.

  • Monitor system health using Grafana and ELK stack.

  • Work with AWS for basic cloud infrastructure tasks.

  • Utilize Airflow for workflow orchestration and scheduling.

  • Perform operational tasks and automation using Linux/Shell scripting.

  • Create and maintain dashboards and reports using Power BI.


Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 5+ years hands-on experience with PySpark and Databricks (critical).

  • Strong Python programming skills (critical).

  • Experience with Spark for distributed data processing.

  • Proficiency with Jenkins for CI/CD pipeline management.

  • Hands-on experience with observability tools (Grafana, ELK).

  • Basic AWS cloud services experience.

  • Basic Airflow experience.

  • Solid understanding of Linux/Shell scripting.

  • Experience with Power BI for creating dashboards and reports.
