Senior Scala Software Engineer | B2B | Hybrid (Wrocław)

Dear Consultant

We’re looking for an experienced Senior Scala Software Engineer to join a leading global financial services project. You’ll be contributing to the development of scalable, high-performance applications with modern tech stacks in a hybrid working model (3 days/week onsite in Wrocław).

Your Role:

• Build and maintain production-grade Scala applications
• Integrate with Kafka for real-time message streaming
• Leverage Azure and CI/CD for modern cloud-native development
• Collaborate cross-functionally to deliver high-quality features
• Work with distributed systems, applying functional programming (ZIO, Cats, Akka)

Your Profile:

• 5+ years in professional software development
• Strong expertise in Scala; solid experience with Java and SQL
• Familiarity with Azure, CI/CD tools, and cloud deployments
• Experience in and ideally Akka or functional libraries (Cats, ZIO)
• Strong problem-solving and system debugging skills
• Team player with a passion for high-quality code and architectural input

Location: Wrocław (Hybrid – 3 days onsite)
