Senior Power BI Developer

We are seeking a talented Power BI Developer to join our team in Krakow for a hybrid opportunity.

This role will involve working in a cutting-edge industry, providing innovative solutions in the energy sector. The ideal candidate will have experience in developing impactful data visualizations and a strong focus on improving reporting processes.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and reports using best practices for data visualization and user experience.
• Connect Power BI to relevant data repositories to ensure seamless data integration.
• Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various sources, ensuring the highest standards of data quality and accuracy.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, understand data needs, and translate them into effective visualizations.
• Conduct data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies, particularly in manufacturing data.
• Provide training and ongoing support to end-users on how to effectively use and interpret Power BI dashboards and reports.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest Power BI features, tools, and best practices.
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of data governance policies and procedures.
• Document all development work, including data sources, transformations, and report specifications.
• Proactively identify opportunities to improve data visualization and reporting processes.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience (7+ years) as a Power BI Developer with a strong focus on data visualization and reporting.
• Experience with data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
