Job Title: Senior Java Developer

Location: Krakow, Poland (Preferred Hybrid, Remote is also fine)

Type: Contract

Rate: 1.200-1.300 PLN per day

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Java Developer for an exciting contract opportunity based in Krakow, Poland. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Java development and hands-on experience in technical leadership and software design. This role offers flexibility with remote work options, but hybrid candidates are preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

• Language Requirement: Fluent Polish Speaker
• Lead and support software design, development, and implementation for complex applications.
• Break down technical requirements into actionable tasks and plan iterations with the scrum team.
• Collaborate on coding, testing, and building software according to requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Work closely with the Technical Product Manager to prepare requirements for upcoming iterations.
• Maintain high code quality standards and improve development practices.
• Participate in Scrum ceremonies and continuously improve technical processes.
• Develop High-Level Designs (HLD) and support deployment and feature release processes.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in both test and production environments.
• Innovate to enhance application stability and performance.
• Translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Contribute to the development of software technical documentation.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Minimum 8+ years of technical experience in Java development.
• At least 3 years of hands-on experience in technical design, leadership, and programming.
• Expertise in Java and development tools.
• Solid experience with Unix/Linux systems or tech stack requirements.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Experience in CI tools and continuous improvement practices.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and drive technical excellence.
• Proficient in both technical and business communication.

Desired Qualifications:

• Must be an immediate joiner or candidates with a max 1-2 week notice period.
• EU/Polish or Ukrainian citizen, with fluent Polish speaking skills.
