Senior Java Blockchain Architect

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Java Blockchain Architect to join a long-term project for a leading global player in the payments and financial services industry. This is a hybrid role based in Warsaw, ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced, high-availability environments and has a strong background in blockchain technologies.

Location: Hybrid – Warsaw (2 days in the office, 3 days remote)

Rate: Up to 1,300 PLN/day (B2B)

Industry: Global Payments & FinTech

🛠️ Key Responsibilities:

1. Design and develop mission-critical systems in a complex, high-availability environment.
2. Build and integrate blockchain-based solutions, with a focus on EVM-compatible blockchains.
3. Work on system architecture, data integration, and IT workflows for custody/self-custody services.
4. Apply cryptographic principles and blockchain interoperability where applicable.
5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams using tools like JIRA and Confluence.

✅ Required Experience:

1. Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in enterprise-level IT development.
2. Strong Java expertise and experience in mission-critical system architecture.
3. Practical knowledge or experience in blockchain development.
4. Understanding of custody/self-custody concepts in financial services.
5. Familiarity with basic cryptographic primitives and secure system design.
6. Proficiency in data integration, data quality, and system integration.
7. Hands-on experience with JIRA, Confluence, and working in Agile environments.
8. Experience working with EVM-compatible blockchains.
