Senior DevOps Engineer

We are looking for Sr. DevOps Engineer on behalf of our client to join to the to a client from an investment company in Warsaw.

In this role, you will be responsible for implementing and managing our CI/CD pipelines, ensuring the reliability and scalability of our applications, and supporting our development teams.

• You will work closely with developers and stakeholders to manage deployments, automate processes, and maintain our environments.
• You will be part of a learning culture, where teamwork and collaboration are encouraged, excellence is rewarded, and diversity is respected and valued. The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Also, should be able to coordinate with team from different regions like USA and India.
• Project will be purely on Agile development model where the team members are expected to provide daily updates on what was achieved, plan for the day and any blockers.

JD Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and other relevant tools.

• Improve deployment and release processes automation.

• Manage and maintain development, testing, and production environments.

• Develop and maintain scripts for automation and environment management (e.g., Shell, Python).

• Implement and support environment configuration and infrastructure as code.

• Troubleshoot and resolve environment and deployment issues.

• Collaborate with development teams to integrate and deploy applications.

• Support and enhance existing DevOps practices.

• Work with relational databases, preferably Oracle.    

• Manage and support batch processing using Autosys.    

• Expected working hours will be from 11:30AM to 8:00PM CEST

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.    

Must Have 

• Minimum of 6 years of professional experience as a DevOps Engineer.    

• Strong experience in creating and managing Jenkins pipeline.

• Excellent scripting skills e.g., Shell, Python.

• Strong experience in Unix/Linux

• Good knowledge of Relational databases like Oracle.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.    

• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.   

Prefer to have/familiar with:

 • Experience with AWS Cloud services like EKS, Docker containerization, secret management, EFS, S3 etc.

 • Experience working with job schedulers like Autosys    

 • Experience working in Investment banking domain.
