Senior Database Engineers (MongoDB & MSSQL) – B2B (Remote Poland)

Key Responsibilities:

1. Lead database migration from third-party data centers to internal infrastructure
2. Translate business requirements into database architecture, design, and change plans
3. Perform DB modeling, capacity planning, and performance optimization
4. Create and manage database schemas, tables, stored procedures, and access controls
5. Execute and validate DB changes as per release cycles
6. Design and implement database performance monitoring, auditing, and recovery mechanisms
7. Handle incident resolution, service restoration, and DB tuning
8. Lead security remediation, patching, and workload management
9. Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams during migration and stabilization
10. Document database infrastructure and support DR scenarios

Required Skills & Experience:

1. Proven experience in MongoDB (2 roles) or MSSQL (1 role) – Senior level
2. Experience with cross data center replication and migration strategies
3. Strong knowledge of:
4. Database modelling, tuning, monitoring, and workload assessment
5. Stored procedure development and DB performance testing
6. Data lifecycle management (cleansing, purging, archiving, TTL)
7. DB change governance and debugging post-release issues
