 Role Overview

As an SAP GTS Consultant, you’ll be responsible for the full project lifecycle of SAP Global Trade Services—from blueprinting and configuration through go-live and hypercare. You'll work across functional streams, driving process alignment, providing expert configuration, and supporting custom developments.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and support business process alignment for SAP GTS-related areas.
• Provide hands-on configuration and implementation expertise across the full project lifecycle—from sales cycle to early life support.
• Deliver transition and post go-live support to the business.
• Ensure technical and functional understanding of the GTS module.
• Collaborate with the ABAP development team for custom functionalities.
• Drive and facilitate SAP GTS workshops, including preparation, facilitation, and documentation (URS, IT requirements).
• Write accurate and clear meeting minutes.
• Provide input into process design in S/4HANA based on FIT/GAP analysis.
• Create functional specifications, define data objects/fields, assess impact on roles.
• Work closely with both business stakeholders and development teams to gather and document requirements.
• Ensure documentation is properly maintained in Solution Manager and aligned with CSV guidelines.
• Define user stories, acceptance criteria, and definition of done.
• Act as liaison between cross-functional streams to ensure integration alignment.
• Present and demonstrate SAP GTS processes to stakeholders and wider audiences.

Required Skills & Experience

• Proven expertise in SAP GTS with a minimum of 2 full end-to-end implementations.
• Strong configuration and hands-on system experience.
• In-depth understanding of S/4HANA integration.
• Experience with SAP Solution Manager and working within CSV-regulated environments.
• Strong workshop facilitation, documentation, and Fit/Gap analysis skills.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder engagement abilities.
• Experience working in Agile environments (SAFe Agile certification is a plus).
• Participation in Agile ceremonies such as Stand-ups, PI Planning, and Iteration Reviews.

Nice to Have

• Experience working in client-facing consulting roles.
• Track record in multi-country SAP program rollouts.
• Background in global delivery models and collaborating with offshore teams.
• Experience mentoring and coaching junior consultants.
