Quality Assurance (QA) Analyst (HX)

We are seeking a skilled QA Analyst to join a data-driven environment supporting a global financial services client. Location: Remote – Poland-based

Type: Open to both permanent and contract arrangements

Client: A leading global investment firm (confidential)

Key Responsibilities:

1. Design and maintain automated test scripts using Python
2. Validate data across systems using complex SQL queries (including Snowflake)
3. Ensure accuracy in ETL pipelines and data workflows
4. Collaborate with business analysts and developers to translate requirements into test scenarios
5. Conduct end-to-end testing on APIs, backend logic, and reporting tools
6. Document and track bugs efficiently
7. Drive continuous improvements in QA processes and automation

Requirements:

1. 3+ years of experience in software QA/testing
2. Strong skills in Python and SQL
3. Hands-on experience with Snowflake or similar modern data platforms
4. Understanding of SDLC, Agile methodologies, and QA best practices
5. Detail-oriented, analytical, and a strong team player
6. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (preferred)

1. Experience with ETL/ELT tools (e.g., dbt, Airflow)
2. Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
3. Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions)
