QA Automation Engineer

We are looking for a talented QA Automation Engineer to join our team in the banking and financial services sector. You will design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and scripts to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of our software applications. You’ll collaborate with developers, product owners, and DevOps teams to define test strategies, integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines, and detect defects early in the development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain automated test frameworks and scripts.

• Execute functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.

• Collaborate with development, product, and DevOps teams to ensure high-quality releases.

• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and support continuous testing.

• Identify, report, and track defects, promoting quality best practices.

• Participate in performance testing and optimization initiatives.

  
  

Technical Skills & Tools:

• Programming & Scripting: Java /or/ Python/ or C# (one of the following one - depending on stack)

• Test Automation Frameworks: Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, TestNG, JUnit

• API Testing: Postman, REST Assured, Karate

• CI/CD: GitLab CI/CD

• Containerization & Orchestration: Docker, Kubernetes

• Cloud Platforms: Azure

• Performance Testing: JMeter, Gatling, k6

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a QA Automation Engineer, ideally in banking or financial services.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

• Experience with Agile/Scrum development methodology is a plus.
